Désirée Walter Joins the Management of Noyes Robotics GmbH
Munich, 15 December 2024 – With effect from 1 September 2024, NOYES Robotics GmbH, formerly NOYES Technologies GmbH, has appointed Désirée Walter to its management board. Together with Marco Prüglmeier, she has since been leading the company and is strengthening its strategic development with her expertise.
In her role as Managing Director, Ms Walter is responsible for the Finance and Human Resources functions. Mr Prüglmeier remains CEO with ongoing responsibility for the strategic leadership of the technology and sales divisions. With this clear division of responsibilities, NOYES Robotics is committed to a focused and forward-looking management approach.
Ms Walter brings extensive experience from her work at the parent group KNAPP, where she continues to work part-time as an Executive Assistant with a particular focus on Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A). This close connection to KNAPP supports NOYES Robotics in integrating into the group’s processes while maintaining the strategic independence of the Munich-based company.
A central element of NOYES Robotics’ product strategy is the NoyesStorage – a flexible, automated warehouse system that efficiently automates conventional shelving units and eliminates inefficiencies in logistics. The system consists of four main components: the shelving system, NoyesBot, carrier, and operating interface. Thanks to its maintenance-optimised design and simple expandability, it offers mid-sized companies an economical solution for warehouse automation. The NoyesBot moves goods with a load capacity of up to 40 kg quickly and reliably, enabling high packing density. The straightforward and rapid installation makes the system ideally suited for companies with limited warehouse space.
Following the acquisition by the KNAPP Group in February 2024, NOYES Robotics has been able to draw on a strong network and additional resources to further develop its solutions with an even sharper focus on mid-market customers. At the same time, the company remains an independent organisation in Munich and continues to build its market position in the field of modular automation solutions.
“With Désirée Walter, we are gaining an experienced and strategically astute executive who will sustainably strengthen our company. Her expertise in finance, legal affairs, and M&A, along with her close ties to KNAPP, creates optimal conditions for the further expansion of NOYES Robotics.”
— Marco Prüglmeier, CEO of NOYES Robotics GmbH
Désirée Walter adds: “Together we will continue to develop this innovative solution and build our market position. I am particularly looking forward to working with the talented team that is shaping the future of robotics with passion and commitment.”
This change in leadership takes place in parallel with the planned departure of the previous Chief Financial Officer Aaron Karvani, who will be leaving the company at the turn of the year.
With a clearly defined leadership structure and innovative solutions such as NoyesStorage, NOYES Robotics looks to the future with confidence and remains a strong partner for mid-sized companies seeking to make their warehouse logistics more efficient.
